Weight is similar to 10/2. I have woven it with warps at 24 and 30 epi with good success.

This is a single ply organic cotton sourced from a Mill in North Carolina. I have a limited quantity and once I run out it will not be restocked. 

NOT SUITABLE FOR WARP! Not a strong yarn and will break under any medium to large amount of tension. 

Makes lovely weft for items like towels, napkins and more. This yarn likes to twist on itself so needs a delicate hand when working with it.  Can be put in the washing machine and keeps its softness !

I use an eco-friendly hand-painted process to create colors inspired by bird species from around the world. Each skein has a unique personality and color. All are for use by people who want to weave, knit, and crochet. Hand painted in Durham NC.   
Yarn is dyed to order so please order as much as you need for your project.  Due to the nature of hand dyeing there may be some variation from skein to skein.  I color correct photos to be an accurate representation of the yarn color, but as monitors are different the color might be slightly different. 
Yarn has been rinsed until running clear in both cold and hot water.  Upon your first wash there may be some loose dye, so I recommend a cold rinse. You can use color catchers if you are worried about potential bleeding.
